ABOUT US

LORNA DOUGAN
Lorna is an Associate Professor  in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leeds. She is a physicist by training (MPhys and PhD) and has research interests which span biophysics and soft matter physics. Lorna's research explores the physics of living systems and she uses this knowledge to develop new technologies to solve real world problems, including in healthcare.
RHI GREGORY
Passionate about establishing textiles and design as valued tool within scientific research and concept illustration, Rhi strongly believes in the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration. Rhi has been involved in The Bio Physics Design Project since graduating in 2016 from the University of Huddersfield with a BSc in Textiles with Surface Design. She currently works as an Associate Presentation Specialist for McCann Complete Medical in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
